Telstra has the largest mobile coverage in Tasmania. Before visiting we recommend checking the mobile coverage of your provider first before arriving and exploring our beautiful fishing destinations.

Note: Telstra are supposed to be doing a 4G 5G upgrade of the Barren Tier site 13th -15th th Jan. The system will be shut down for this upgrade. If the planned upgrade goes ahead there are a number of cameras which are connected via this site so they will be affected. Namely Penstock, the Pine , Lake Augusta . Great lake  and Arthurs Lakes cameras. The cameras will be back online after the update.
