Arthurs Lake
Hydro have informed AAT that the earthworks that are currently being undertaken at the irrigation outlet are to allow Tasmanian Irrigation (TI) to access water down to 947.5 m, which is the agreed cease to take level. When construction was originally being undertaken by TI, water levels in the lake were high (only a few cm off spill), and as a result excavation works on the intake could not be completed. Water levels in the lake are now lower allowing TI to complete this work.
